I am currently a Well Stimulation Engineer with Chevron in the Technical Center. My primary technical focuses are hydraulic fracturing, acid fracturing, matrix acidizing, formation damage, and geomechanics. I have been in my current role for about three years. The thing I like most about my current role is being able to support all global assets and being able to interface with multiple business units in a single day.
Academically, I received my bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Wyoming. After my BS I went to work for a small operating company in North Dakota as a field engineer. I decided to go back to school and received my master's and PhD from Colorado School of Mines, both in Petroleum Engineering. My graduate research focused on proppant transport and perforation erosion in high rate slickwater systems using computational fluid dynamics.
