I am a progressive legal professional, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Oil and Gas Law at the University of Aberdeen. As a recent LLB graduate, I am eager to embark on my journey in the legal industry and am passionate about the opportunity to learn and make meaningful contributions along the way.
With a multifaceted background in compliance and legal fields, I strive to become an expert in my current interests within the oil and gas sector while ensuring that I stay aligned with my purpose. My objective is to assist businesses in the oil and gas sector in Namibia in adhering to all relevant laws and regulations by ensuring compliance with local legislation, and corporate governance standards. I am dedicated to fostering a culture of compliance that aligns with national content requirements and promotes sustainable practices within the Oil and Gas industry, all while prioritizing the best interests of local Namibians and investors.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained practical experience through internships in the legal and compliance field, where I supported compliance operations, contributed to fraud investigations, and assisted in drafting commercial contracts for investors.
I am enthusiastic about further specialising in this field and am eager to connect, learn, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and regulations while growing as an individual and remaining teachable.
