JOB OVERVIEW:

Fracture Stimulation Engineers bring together understanding and data in order to determine the most cost effective and efficient fracture stimulation operations.  This is done by coordinating and planning all aspects of exploration, appraisal and development operations in formations that require hydraulic fracturing or stimulation operations to be viable.  

The role of a Fracture Stimulation Engineer can vary greatly depending on where in the world you are operating and if the site is conventional or unconventional.

Fracture Stimulation Engineers work closely with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other professionals to optimize the extraction of hydrocarbons from unconventional reservoirs. Their expertise is critical in unlocking the potential of shale formations and other tight reservoirs, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of oil and gas operations.

Day to day:

• Using industry software to design fracturing treatments
• Run implementations on the field
• Run post job analytics
• Coordinate meetings between multiple parties
